It takes as much energy to wish as it does to plan. ~ Eleanor Roosevelt
If you’ve had a chance to watch this week’s business tip video, you know that there are going to be little glitches, office chaos and even, yes, technology gremlins (for the non-subscribers in the bunch, they landed squarely in the middle of my software changeover
). None of which matter if you have a plan.
In the spirit of keeping this short and sweet this week (just like me!), here’s the weekly Q+A:
Question: How much planning do you do in your business…and how much wishing?
Action: Over the next day or three, watch your thoughts and what you say. How often are you saying…
:: I wish I was more organized, more focused, more ________________.
:: I wish I had more clients or customers.
:: I wish I knew where this business was really going in the next week, month, year.
:: I wish I were as successful as __________________________.
:: I wish I could just get that book, proposal, newsletter, ____________________________ done!
No more wishing! You heard Eleanor – it takes as much energy to wish as it does to plan. This is not about getting your calendar in order or finding a new planner – this is about getting your act together and making a real, big-girl business plan. Now. Today. No more wishing.
What are you going to stop wishing for and start planning and doing this week instead? Shout it out in the comments below!
